Really!!?!?!! More softball/baseball fields. WTF?? LoL!

I wonder what the possibilities are of the concrete skatepark being used and allowing stuff other than strictly skateboards are to be used on it? I saw the plans already, looks pretty nice and like it'ld be able to be used by other stuff than skateboards.

I also have a Haro Bactrail X24. This frame on this bike is extremely strong. Great for trail jumping or for larger guys in the cruiser class. Currently it doesn't have a back rim nor tires. I may have something around that I can put on there. The original front rim is included. Friday evening beginning at apx. 6:30/6:45PM we will have a Work Party at Wild Horse Creek Park/Powder Springs in order to prepare the track and grounds for Saturday's and Sunday's racing action. We have some patchwork to do to the track surface (so bring your rakes and shovels, a wheel barrow would be great if anyone can bring one out). We would also like to police the spectator and concession areas so the grounds look their best as folks roll in for the race weekend.

The more volunteers we can get to help out Friday night, the more we can accomplish and the better everything will be as we kick-off the race weekend Saturday at noon. See you at the track...

I know I am responsible for throwing out the idea of Saturday morning racing, but the more I think about it, the more important I see adding Friday Nights @ Noonday BMX to next Summer's Race Schedule as a means of growing CCBMX Rider Count. The thought behind racing Friday Nights at Noonday during the Summer months is to give Noonday a race series all its own. Sandy Ridge/McDonough and Bradley County BMX/TN are the closest BMX Racing options on Friday Nights during the summer and we have several "local" racers that make those drives regularly. I believe if racing was offered on the Northside on Friday Nights we could/would draw most of our regulars (racers that are wanting to race but cannot/will not make the drive to TN or the Southside following a day at work. I fall into this category) as well as some new riders/racers that do not participate in either our current Tuesday or Sunday offerings.

I want to see Noonday's rider count and volunteer base grow. Carlos, DD, Tiago, and the gang have done a fantastic job this season of correcting drainage issues and other items that have wieghed on Noonday in the past. I would like to see their efforts rewarded with higher rider counts.
